Blind Buying Guide

Guide to measuring roman, roller, venetian & vertical blinds

 Measuring for an Inside Recess

 A.          Measuring the width: Measure the width of your window recess from wall to wall. Take measurements at three different points just in case your window is not square and write down the smallest measurement. This measurement is called 'Inside Recess' (See fig. 1). A small deduction for clearance will be taken by us from your supplied measurements to ensure your blind can operate smoothly and fits within the recess.

B.        the drop: Measure the height of your window recess from top to sill. Take measurements at three different points just in case your window is not square and write down the smallest measurement.
